Introduction
Wishing abundant blessings to all for the New Year. May God's grace be ever present.
I am honored and humbled to be the first featured artist on Pam's site. My name is Janine Rachau. I am married to Jeff, who I met at the beach, in my late thirties. We now have two wonderful boys, Jason and Kurt. At 44 years of age, I find it a fun challenge to keep up with them.
Although I had created scrap albums in the past, I became passionate about scrapbooking once my first son was born. A friend was a Creative Memories consultant and I started out exclusively loyal to their product completing three dozen of their albums.
Although some of my scrapbooking roots may show through my style, it has changed dramatically. I am ever increasingly excited by new techniques and sketches and am inspired by so many different styles. However, as a prior accountant, balance probably dominates my layouts.
I love expressing my love and commitment to my family by creating memory pages for them. It is the passion that brings me back when life gets busy, (as it is for me now!) I hope to complete all the sketches for the month of January and hope that you enjoy catching a glimpse of my loves.
